Last year i organised a trip abroad to go see my favourite soul fuel, The Grandbrothers, perform at the Palmengarten, Frankfurt. Life threw some real scheisse sticks at everyone, so the crew wound up bailing. I still went, accepting that I might have to go solo.

Straight out of left field, message received asking if i still had the tickets for everyone. Damn right i did!

This song is about the magical feeling of empowerment you receive when you accept that sometimes, if you really want something, you have to be prepared to find a way to, it on your own. Embrace the journey, let music fuel your fire and you'll always be delightfully surprised.

That performance in the Palmengarten was monumental! I danced, i laughed, i cried, ooooh how i cried but with a feeling of absolute euphoria. WHAT an experience!
